Summer camps for youth
Stony Plain Public Library provides programming in a wide range of interests for all ages. Our programs are free or low-cost and open to all. We have free-access to computers, Internet and wifi and we provide one-on-one technology help by appointment. We also provide exam administration services, photocopying, printing, faxing, scanning and 3D printing. For full information go to our website!
Stony Plain Youth Centre provides a safe place for youth in our community between 11-17 years old. It is located at 4902-51 Ave, Stony Plain. Qualified, supportive staff are available during open hours:
Mon-Wed 11-6 pm
Thurs 11-8 pm
Friday 2-9 pm
The SPYC provides the following programs:
Cultural Connections – last Tues of every month 4-5:30 pm. In partnership with the Aboriginal Parent Link Centre, Cultural Connections teach participants Aboriginal crafts, cultural values and traditions. No cost or registration required.
Red Cross babysitting course – $50, ages 11+. Next classes are Sat May 31 (9-4) and Sat June 10 (9-4)
